I'm not sure what is capable over the computer, but I've always wanted a
guide that would show a photograph of a garden and then have a diagram
indicating what each plant was. Ideally it would show the same garden in
the spring, summer, and then fall so that you could get a good idea of what
the garden would look like through the season -- not just at it's peak.
Line drawings leave me cold. I guess I get miffed easily at catalogs like
Michigan Bulb or Springhill that shows a garden with daffodils and asters
blooming at the same time! If I see actual plants in someone's garden, I'm
more apt to try it in mine.
