blue cohosh


Ooops!  Susan, I have no idea if either cohosh or camassia get berries
in the fall (seedpods?) since I trim the stems off after blooming.  They
get pretty floppy in the shade, but might perform differently in sun
(but
still with damp to wet soil).

And Margaret, I don't eat them, but thanks for the heads up. I have yet
to even sample a daylily although the recipes and pictures I keep seeing
will tempt me one of these days.
