My co-worker (hi, Betty!) brings her impatients in every winter and the
darn things bloom off and on until put outside again in the spring.
I've never been successful at doing this, but then again every inch of good
sunlight I have during the winter has a houseplant sitting in it. Plus
Betty has a green thumb. She has poinsettias that are still alive after
several years.
