Rudbeckias and Coreopsis

Sorry if this was covered before, but HELP!

Due to the excellent summer (warm weather like
we've never had) all flowers, that only last month
were tiny plants, are now in full bloom, and I'm
trying to record what came up where, in preparation
for next summer.

Problem is that I went on buying spree early on,
and did not put plant tags near plants AND friends
gifted me with plants - again no tags, just suggestions
about names.

Now, I have a mystery plant - tall (20") graceful stems.
Flowers have long yellow petals with 'sprinkles' of black and brown
in centre. Has to be either Coreopsis or Rudbeckia?

How to tell difference between Rudbeckia hirta and Rudbeckia fulgida?

I have tried many plant websites
and cannot find clear photographs that
identifies characteristics that differentiate one from
the other.

Appreciate suggestions!
