I see these plants quite a bit in this area, so I think that it will
survive. The woman that I bought it from said to cut it back and cover it
with leaves. A friend of mine has one that is a different color, and she
said that she doesn't even bother to cover hers. She just cuts it back. I
also like things that bloom longer, but the blooms are so spectacular that
that makes up for it. If it gets larger (which I think that it will), I
will have many more blooms.
