my husband fixed for me 5-50 gal plastic barrels to go under the
gutter out by the back shed. when it rains he goes out and fits a
curved piece of tin so that the water will drain in each barrel. the
end results is 250 gal of water. in one of those barrels I put a 50
lb. bag of cow manure, as I use that barrel , I fill it up with the
water from the other barrels.
right now I have one 50 gal barrel left (no cow manure in it) I'm
afraid it will burn my plants right now.
the problem is no rain, no more water reserve.
our problem "I understand" is we have plenty of water , but our
facilities to purify the water is not capable of processing the water
fast enough for the demand. they are working to correct this
problem. just hope it's soon
so all is not lost. however we need rain. is every one doing a rain
dance out there?
