Hi!
I have a question about lifting tulips (for a novel
I'm writing- set in
Amsterdam during the great tulip craze) and wondered
if I could ask
that
question of you?
If so, here it is: If a tulip is lifted prematurely,
before it blooms,
(say
two weeks before it should have bloomed), will damage
result? Can the
lifted bulb, if kept out of the soil for a week, then
be planted, and
could
it then be expected to bloom as usual?
Thanks!
