Re: Help with growing Chelones

The chelones are going to spend most of the first year or two growing a root system, the third year should give you good flowering.

They grow best in open shade in normal soils or in a moist location with mostly full sun. They are plants that like soil moisture all year round-not wet so to speak but they do not grow when it is dry.
