Gene I know what you mean about it getting hard to break even selling mail order.

Shady oaks as per the news that has reached my ears has decide to sell to large chain stores like Walmart and K-mart and such-of course this means that their selection will be cut drastically.  I guess this is the cost of buying plants from stores that sell below cost-selection shrinks in the entire market.

The whole sale operation is going strong and they are still in business, the only part that has shut down is the mail order part- I do not know about local sales at the nursery?
