Hey Don - you've got the wrong reputation. It's not a "bit" weedy, its a 
"LOT" weedy. :-)  But, here in my USDA zone 4 garden it too is still in 
bloom (albeit a bit weakly after the freezing rain of the past two days).

You're right - one of the better longer blooming plants in the garden and 
pretty easy to grow to boot.

In Eastern Ontario where today it is 50F, where the pond has just started 
to overflow normally after this summer's drought proving that the water 
table is back to normal some three months late and where the Lavender pots 
are being brought into storage in case it really does turn cold next week.
