I grew up on cornbread dressing - something, I know, not prepared too often
in the northern/mid-western parts of the US. I have to tell you - it's dang
good.
My Mom taught me and her Mom taught her - it's not all cornbread, we mix
dried white bread 1/2 and 1/2 with the cornbread - lotsa sage and sauted
celery and onions----good, good stuff.
I was OOT for Thanksgiving at my husbands family in Florida -----there was no
cornbread dressing to be found. I've decided to make it this coming weekend
just to get my "fix" until Christmas.
