$600 Lady's slipper is listed as follows: Cypripedium *Hilda* - dappled pink and white pouch is surrounded by rosy purple petals and has a slight rose-like fragrance. The first named cross between C. kentuckiense and C. x ventricosum. Hybridized by Owen F. Robinson. Zones 3-7, blooms in June, height 12-18".
The Cyprupedium listed for $145 is C. kentuckiense. Same height, bloom and zones as above, but is creamy white with the dorsal petal being a rich mahogany, sometimes streaked with green.
Too rich for my blood (or wallet).
