I guess it all depends upon your specific addiction, Pat. I have sitting on my staircase landing, in a warm south window, a Worleya rayneri (Blue Amaryllis), a plant for which I paid more than any sane person would. I wish I could say that it was an unqualified success, but I have as yet to find the conditions that make it happy. But I consider it a challenge and I figure I'm entitled to at least one.Too rich for my blood (or wallet). -- Pat Mitchell corgilover@wi.rr.com
What other experiences have others on the list had with that special and very expensive plant that "you just had to have"?
