Thank you for all the detailed information on the culture and cultivars
of Pulmonaria--one of my favorites. It comes up early in the spring and
is so very welcome after the long, cold winter. I have 'Sissinghurst
White', 'Janet Fisk', 'Mrs. Moon', 'Roy Davidson', Spilled Milk (my
favorite--great foliage), and a P. rubra (my least fav.-too floppy).
They have been slow spreading and so reliably hardy year after year.
Mine get late afternoon shade and, yes, do tend to wilt in the heat in
mid-summer, but survive to flourish when cooler weather arrives. And I
haven't moved them for years. Love 'em!
