Sunflower "Russian Giant"

Janice,

I hope these are not the common sunflowers you can get for a dime at your
local drugstore! I'm thinking that they are Russian Mammoth, Giant,
Humongous, whatever. Can someone tell me what those are? Does T&M tout
these as growing really big (over 6 ft) and the seed head as being really
wide (over 12")? If so, these could be the ones I get for my
seven-year-old because they are so easy to start and grow so fast.

I don't know about the rest of you, but the fancier the sunflower, the
fussier they are. I like the common ones still.
