Thanks for all your info an advice. I have ordered from Shepards, they are a
great company. Last year I ordered Fig hollyhock-which is "supposed" to be
uncommon, eager to see the results; Lady's Smock and something else that I
cannot remember.
As for the cosmos (yes, folks I know this is a perennial list, but let me
digress) the cultivar I chose is said to have a "semi-dwarf" habit and are
supposed to have a long flowering period (which most cosmos do anyway). I
decided on these as the cosmos I've had in the past were huge and seemed to
dwarf everything else.
I also order from Cook's Garden-don't know if you've ever tried them or not.
