The catalogs have begun arriving, initiating the thoughts of "I've got to
have that plant."
I recently read a review of Jamaica Kincaid's new book "My Favorite Plant"
(Farrar, Strauss and Geroux) by Emile Mitchell. In it, she states,
"In the plant kingdom, as in romance, apparently the heart alone knows what
it wants."
