Hi all-
this is a little late for me to be asking, but...
earlier this fall, I just snapped off some branches from a fair-sized
sedum autumn joy and stuck them in the ground in a newly dug bed. They
all seemed to take to it fairly well. In retrospect, I wonder if I
should have been picking/planting more carefully. Is there anything one
can do to make the new pieces grow into a bushier plant (rather than
looking like a bunch of broccoli on a long stem)? Should I pinch them
back at some point? any suggestions? TIA
Barb (zone6/7, southeastern PA, where the annual geraniums and stock are
still blooming (too bad they're not in Christmas colors)
