RE: blackberry bushes

Here in Oregon, the Himalayan Blackberry is a vicious weed. The plants
grown from spreading rhizomes, and are virtually impossible to eradicate. I
guess the only saving grace is that they bear wonderful fruit, but after
whacking, burning, digging, spraying, and chanting death curses over them,
even a fresh blackberry pie hardly seems worth it!
