Hi, I am reading a catalog from Shepherd's and they say that Chester is
vigourous growing up to 8 feet in one year - doesn't say anything about
suckering. Hope that doesn't confuse you as to buy or not. I am in Oregon
and constantly battling blackberry vines and starts. But they sure make
the best jams.
