Hello Barbara,
Much of what I sow around here is perennial and needs a warm, cold, warm
period to germinate, or some period of cold after moisture hits the seeds. I sow
seeds all the way into February and place them outside in open cold frames to go
with the weather. Germination begins as spring warms them up to a consistent
temp... some before that.
