Re: delphinium growers

Hi Tom,

The hibiscus seeds grew very well and we finished up with about 15
plants. We decided to move in the plants second year and they got
rather neglected, some got black spot and died and others didn't like
the shift to Wanganui where we live now. it is hardly tropical here,
but one is planted out in the garden and may flower before the first
frost and two others are in pots in our plastic growing house, doing
fine and should flower soon. They did really well to survive the winter
under some trees where they were protected from the one frost we
did get - a good one. I am really looking forward to the flowers as
only one has flowered before...too cold and too young before i think.

Good to hear from you again. i hope to have a little more time for
this sort of thing again now.

All the best
