In NWsuburban Chicago, where for the past 3 years we have had aconitum and
snowdrops in bloom by February 5 (and some narcissus showing tips) we have
had a very mild winter. Neverthless, there is nothing visible--no matter
how closely I look. Oh well, maybe tomorrow.
