Al-
The first year (with winter lows around 0 - 5) they all died. Last year we had
a mild winter and I think that 2 plants survived, and they had been covered
with thick pine boughs. I saw some very minimal growth in early May. BUT,
then we started putting in a walkway nearby and my husband dumped a load of
Belgian block on them (not knowing that he should have been on his hands and
knees with a magnifying glass looking for signs of life...), so we'll never
know if they would have made it!!
