I'll second Bill's opinion on Salvia farinacea 'Victoria'.  This is a plant
I simply could not do without.  It goes with almost everything, blooms its
heart out all season, doesn't need deadheading, blooms in sun or part shade,
withstands drought, etc. and it doesn't look like an annual.  What more can
be said for it?  I'm just surprised that you only buy one flat!
