California poppies' seed sowing

Unfortunately, I can't really give you good information on this. I always
have a few Calif. poppies that reseed themselves, with no help from me. It
seems, tho, that many of the annual types of poppies do best with early
seeding in place, where they are to grow. This is certainly true for my
Papaver somniferum.
