I was under the assumption that horse manure was OK to use without waiting
for it to rot -- but that all other was not. I have literally shoveled the
stuff one week and then spread it the next without foliage burn. However,
I am talking about shoveling out a barn stall that hadn't been shoveled in
two weeks... Perhaps that is considered "rotted" manure!
