Cindy, the ones you have listed are not as prone to the problem, but plants
like the H. sanguinea types can be a pain. They are the Coral bells grown
for the large flowers. I love H. 'garnet' -- I can let it grow for years
without having to replant.
Our native alum root does not suffer this problem ether, but it grows much
larger, with a height of 2 feet and a width of 12 inches.
