Our native alum root does not suffer this
problem ether, but it grows much
larger, with a height of 2 feet and a width of 12 inches.

pointing out that the species makes a difference. I just spent a little
time looking up heucheras in catalogs to see if they'd tell me what species they
are. There aren't many species named. I did see that I'm
probably spelling 'Velvet Night' wrong in my spreadsheet...should it really be
'Velvet Knight'?
While looking for species
names in my spreadsheet, I noticed I have Heucherella alba 'Bridgit
Bloom'. I don't know why I have "alba" in there. Should that be
removed?
What are some of the large
flowered cultivars of heucheras? I think I'd like to get
some!
