I have had the Sensitive fern in my garden for years. Love the "black beads"
each early winter. It has always been nothing more than a reasonable grower for
me. I have had people come through and remark about having "that invasive fern" in
my garden. Never has been. Wish it would be a bit more assertive. Perhaps with
milder temps in winter, more moisture on a consistent level....?
It is an attractive fern with the broad almost coarse leaves, decent color and
those black shiny beads in the early winter.
