Gas plant is the common name. I've always wanted to try it, never been able to find it locally. Finally mail ordered it this year. I hear from a friend in Oregon that he has lost it many times. That they require quite good drainage.
Anyone have any suggestions for soggy Oregon? Fill the hole with 1/2 gravel half compost? What do you think?
I've lost it twice immediately after planting. If you solve the problem, please report back.
