where-ever and they are so lovely. Would like to purchase some new types of

It is a blizzard here on the Mountains in Pennsylvania. Claire - guess you
are sick of snow up in New York. We have to get out when the snow stops and
shovel out. Great plant covering but I've had enough snow for a while.>>>>>>
This new phlox is supposed to carry the bracts for up to four months. We
would not have four months after formation of flowers here. They must have
been developed in a warmer place. Still, I would like to try them. Plants
that stay on for a while are not common in the flowering border. On snow, as
this is written there is here a total whiteout again which varies only in the
amount of snow it leaves each time. They rest of the week has snow forecast
nearly daily, not all of it from the present huge storm.
There is one interesting thing about total snow cover for over three months.
The area outside the glassed part of the plant growing space, our
conservatory if you will, reflects this whiteness making more light in the
room than when there is no snow. If building such a space, snow glare to the
eye while outside is beneficial light to the plants inside.
There is nothing else that is good about snow.
