Claire, parts of our state would disagree with you. This winter's snow
pack in the mountains fills the reservoirs during spring melt and is the
irrigation water for the summer. Without the snow pack the farmers in
central & eastern Oregon are really hurting. Is you snowpack drinking water
for NYC by any chance? :) :)
