RE: is this list still here?

Yeah, Donna, it has been awfully quiet the last few months. I still check in periodically to see if anyone has anything to say..

My wish list right now is focused on orange/coral. I decided to make one of my beds that color because I found an azalea that I fell in love with. But last year, I wasn't particularly lucky with this bed; everything that I planted that was supposed to be orange turned out to be pink! I planted (supposedly) "flame" callas and "orange perfection" phlox, both of which were undoubtedly pink. I'm going to try the phlox again this year (in pots, to start out) that I bought elsewhere. Of course, I hae my eye on the new orange coneflowers. Someone asked about them awhile back, and I've since learned that two different hybridizers developed them about the same time. I think I'll try both and see how they compare. And someone, Park's maybe, has an orange ice plant that I think I'll order, too. At lease I bought the gerberas in bloom, so I know what color they are!

The big flower and garden show in Little Rock is this weekend; I'm sure I'll come home with more than I need! But, I've been counting down the days...
