Yet another voice to concur that daylilies are tough guys. I once dug a
bunch, put them on a plastic sheet in the parking area for my husband to
plant "where he wanted to".  They sat there for an entire year with out any
visible harm...through ice and snow and wind and heat and.....

So, not to worry!
