During my first summer of gardening my neighbour had a wheelbarrow full of
daylilies she meant to divide and plant. She never got around to it and gave
me the lot in September after they'd sat in the wheelbarrow for 2 months.
They are gorgeous and healthy, blooming heavily every year. I think they can
withstand anything!
