Have you ever seen a doornail come to life?  Watch your dead agastache and
be amazed.  Cut out the dead stuff and give the root a chance to do its
thing.  It also self-seeds, but is not obnoxiously invasive.  BTW another
visitor/feeder on its nectar are the white imported cabbage moth
butterflies.  Grump. Margaret
