I am not a chemist, just a gardener. I have found that if you spray the
leaves when it's not going to rain that day or at least most of the next
day (rain washes it off), you get a much better result than cutting
first. Be sure you get a high percentage of chemical in the Roundup you
buy also. Many bottles have very little actual active ingredients. Try
a local feed store for the stronger ones.
