Hi! I'm new to the mailing list but I couldn't help adding my two cents
worth on Signs of Spring. My snowdrops started blooming last week when we
had a run of 60 - 70 degree days. They survived the few days of 20 degree
weather and snow that followed. The past few days have been back in the
50's again. But tonight the temperatures drop and the snow begins again.
Gardening in Illinois can be adventurous! My Lenten Rose is showing buds,
the earliest I ever remember. And the old fashioned daffodils and hyacinth
that are planted up against the house foundation have buds on them too.
The robins were thick out at my dad's farm and there have been huge flights
of geese streaming north.
