Re: A sign of spring!!


Hello Frank,
	Things are popping in this neck of the woods as well. And far too early.
Last frost date here is May 10. Last year all this warm happened and then
we had heavy frost well after that date. Some of the latest frost we have
had in history. Nothing that can be done about it. Most plants that dare
the weather at this point are built to take the abuse of warm up, freeze,
and then back to warm. 
	Right now my Cyclamen coum have been in bloom for a week along with the
Winter Aconite, Iris danfort., and Chinese Witchazel. Hellebores are in
full bloom. H. foetidus, H. purpurescens, H. odorus. niger and garden
hybrids along with others. One lonely bloom so far on the Adonis. 
	One sign I look for each spring is the little Trillium nivale. It is the
first native to bloom here and it has not shown its little nose as yet.
Perhaps it knows something......
