If you want to see some stunning Galanthus photos, look for the January issue
of The Garden, the monthly magazine for members of the Royal Horticultural
Society. Absolutely stunning! Cultivars with a variety of green markings,
one with a gold stem, and a pinky/buffy one. Another article shows
hellebores and I really really want the red double with pointed
petals--really red, not burgundy or mauve. And another article introduced me
to linaria--in a wide variety of flower colors. I would never let my RHS
membership lapse. I just wish that we had U.S. sources for a lot of these
plants. You might find The Garden in your public library or in a bookstore
with a very good section of garden magazines.
