RE: Big, bold, beautiful, white flowering perennial


Skyler, I'm wondering if the perennial you describe below could be
Cimicifuga ramosa 'Atropurpurea', C. 'Brunette' - both with dark purple
foliage - or C. simplex 'White Pearl' - with green foliage.  All have
wonderfully fragrant white bottle brush flowers in late summer/early fall.

I saw a photo of the most amazing white bottle brush flowering perennial in
a garden magazine, and neglected to add it to my list of must-haves...I hope
