Truly funny!
And the mention of Ladies Tresses reminded me of something that I did -
against the law? - about 30 some years ago, before I was gardening and
knowing much about plants. As a volunteer helper at my young daughter's Girl
Scout Camp, I had the girls pick a few weeds and flowers to identify by
means of an easy field guide. Guess which one I picked? When I saw what it
was, I was embarrassed and humiliated and still am. I can't remember, but I
hope I made an object lesson of it of what NOT to do. (or I hope they have
forgotten - I never will). Hopefully, the orchid survived if not its flower.
