Yes, I grow almost all my plants (hems) in one gallon pots, a few in three
gallon pots, and bring them down to the market in bloom. Lots of work
loading and unloading because the flowers damage easily when they rub against
each other.
The only way (best way) to buy a Daylily or a Columbine is in bloom.
The trick is to load them the day before and keep the trailer closed, then
the flowers open after being unloaded. The other trick is deciding which
plants are going to open the next day...90 percent success rate at that
trick, but a few are slippery and get on a day early.
