Geez, can't think of a thing to say. It is still coming down here, since
yesterday morning.

Paul, who is up to date on new cultivars - what do you have to day about the
daylily 'Blueberry Sundae' which is on page 6 of the big glossy Dutch Gardens
catalog. If that would appear in my garden or a container (says 20 inches)
I might buy a daylily. Says it is a new legend in the making. Is the white
really white? Sure is a pretty picture.

All of their pix are gorgeous and I am a grownup gardener but could it be? Is this daylily in general commerce? I am always skeptical about the
purples.
Gee Claire, an old hand like you falling for Dutch Gardens - just teasing. I have bought bulbs from them many times, but generally skip their perennials. The quality is just not there. The daylilies are tissue cultured and that is a big no-no in the eyes of the daylily cognoscenti (how's my Italian tonight?).

But, I haven't gotten mine yet - how much does Dutch Gardens want for BLUEBERRY SUNDAE - it is going for $53 in Eureka still. I suspect I can find you a piece for much less.
As to it's visual appeal - it's registered as a cream white with blue purple edge and eye. The few times I've seen it, I saw it as a very pale yellow with a purple edge and eye.
