Begonia sinensis is as reliable as grandis. I could have given you some
since I have been pulling them up and composting them for years. They
spread as prolifically as grandis. I have tried other clones as well as
alba with no success at all. I grew sinensis from seed about ten years ago
so I know that if I could get seeds from some of the other clones I could
grow them. Once you have grandis though it is hard to know what you are
pulling up. I had a fall crocus with a good bloom still in bloom up till
Christmas. If my AIBO robot could only pull weeds. I got my original
Grandis from Kay Boydston at Fernwood in Michigan in the 70's (?)
