Re: Hardiness of Begonia grandis 'Alba'?


Hello Frank,
    As if just so happens..... I will be giving a slide presentation and
talk at Fernwood this coming February 8th. "Ten Months of Bloom in the Shade
Garden". Will be my first trip up and over to see Fernwood. If you get a
chance and it is not too far from you come say hello. Invitation applies to
any of you in that neck of the woods.
    I took a pot of Begonia sinensis in trade this past summer. Never did
get it into a location in the garden. Hopefully still in the holing area
waiting for its new home. I have not taken the time to look up photos of the
various species ... is there all that much of a difference in appearances
between them??
