You will find all sorts of>

And don't discount flies as pollinators. I always have a large number of
helleborus foetida in bloom and get thousands of seedlings in mid-summer. The
H. foetida blooms in the winter and that is a very chilly insectless time in
the Cincinnati area. I'm sure wind is a pollinator too, especially for
hellebores with their very open flowers. No need for a long proboscis to get
deep into a tubular flower with these plants.
