===>Arrowhead had Asphodeline listed in their Bulb section, I guess because 
it is rhizomatous.  I'd never seen the plant before my visit to your place, 
Gene, but it is certainly striking. I have one book that places it hardy to 
zone 6, another to zone 7. You are in a warmer area that we are here in 
Cincinnati, but we shouldn't be far off.  With a little protection.... I'm 
going for it. The A. lutea is the one you have I'm sure from the description.
