Re: Dianthus

I have a perennial carnation that is strongly cinnamon/clove scented. It
always takes me by surprise when I walk by the patch. It has spread over
the years and is now a very thick mat, with the main plant only 6" high but
the flower stalk 12-18". They are all red and the flowers are small, only
about the size of quarter . I'd be glad to help in your experiment if you
are interested in this plant. I have (somewhere) all the original info
about the name and who I bought it from because I save everything! but it
will take some hunting, but If you're interested I'd be glad to help,
sending info, seed or plant.

Monica
